The Sleep Practitioner course is ideal for professionals who want to provide evidence based intervention for children age 12 months upwards. The course provides the resources to deliver sleep clinics in your local community.
Endorsed by the British Sleep Society, it is our flagship course to train to be a sleep practitioner. The course is accessed by a wide range of professionals from health, education, social care and the voluntary sector. Delegates receive lectures from experts in their field such as Professor Heather Elphick who leads Sheffield Children’s Hospital’s sleep team; psychologist, Dr Charlie Tyack, Fiona Boorman, a well-respected enuresis nurse and Jenny Featherstone, Community Team Leader for Physiotherapy and Occupation Therapy.
The course is delivered online and delegates engage in exercise, practical case study work and produce a reflective assignment.
An application process is in place and applicants must meet our required person specification to be accepted on the course.
