The Boarding School training and membership package is a course designed for those working in independent schools who want to support the wellbeing of their students.

Good quality adequate sleep is vitally important for children and young people to meet their full potential and our approach to improving sleep issues for pupils, positively impacts on their overall mental health and wellbeing.

Improving sleep patterns for young people can have many benefits including:

Specialist, evidence-based training is provided to staff to equip them with the knowledge to support the community to sleep well and a toolkit includes materials to share with students, staff and parents. You will use the toolkit of materials to evaluate current practices, identify areas to develop and work towards these building a healthier boarding community for all.

Schools that complete the programme will be awarded the Boarding School ‘Sleep Friendly School’ accreditation mark.

  • A printed workbook with copies of the training slides and space to make notes
  • Two webinars – one for your staff team, and one for parents
  • Monthly drop-in sessions to gain additional support with complex cases
  • Comprehensive resource toolkit including the Sleep Assessment document
  • Accreditation mark to be used on your marketing collateral
